Serie A giants determined to sign £50m-rated Arsenal centre-forward Alexandra Lacazette

Serie A giants determined to sign €50m-rated Arsenal centre-forward

Alexander Lacazette has no intention of joining Inter Milan this summer, according to reports in France. The Italian club are one of several suitors for France international, who has two years left of his deal at Arsenal. Atletico Madrid have also been credited with an interest, but the Nerazzurri have approached to sign the centre-forward.

The Serie A giants are on the battle for a proven goalscorer with star centre-forward Lautaro Martinez poised for a big move soon. Blaugrana are believed to be the frontrunners to land Argentina international and Inter Milan had identified Alexandre as an excellent replacement option.

But Lacazette is not interested in the switch and has made that ‘clear’ to San Siro. Gunners are facing an uncertain transfer window with the 29-year-old centre-forward, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang linked with rival clubs.

Man United, PSG and Chelsea are reportedly keeping tabs on Gabon international, who was strongly linked with Blaugrana last winter. Arsenal have had to scale back their transfer budget and wage bill due to the financial fall-out of the covid-19 pandemic.

Players like the French centre-forward and the Gabonese striker have already agreed to a 12.5 per cent wage cut. The Spanish manager has been told to focus on free agents and swap deals, but the Gunners should have more funds available if Pierre-Emerick or Alexandre is sold.

The Gunners footballers are back in training ahead of the restart of the 2019/20 campaign and will headline the first night of action with Man City on 17 June.

Arsenal in the hunt for 27-year-old south American playmaker Philippe coutinho

Arsenal in the hunt for 27-year-old South American playmaker

Comments Offon Arsenal in the hunt for 27-year-old South American playmaker

Blaugrana will demand a fee of €10m from any club wishing to take the out of favour star on loan. Philippe Coutinho is currently on loan at Bayern Munich, as the ace is attracting the interest of Premier League clubs Chelsea, Newcastle and Gunners.

Old Lady might also be interested in Brazil international as part of a possible swap deal. ESPN reported a couple of days ago that Man United have rejected the opportunity to sign the star.

MD add that Blaugrana would ideally like to sell the Brazilian playmaker for €80m, however, they understand that in such a devalued market due to the covid-19 pandemic, this may not be possible.

It’s added that in the event that the 27-year-old playmaker leaves on loan once again they will ask for a €10m fee as well as the loan club to take on the Brazilian attacker’s wages in full.

Blaugrana’s demands may be quite unrealistic in the current climate, especially considering that Philippe earns a massive £225,000-a-week after tax.

This is an even bigger ask given that Philippe’s time with Bayern has been fairly mixed he’s contributed 9 goals and 8 assists but has just started 22 of his 32 games across all tournaments.

Arsenal in hunt for £20m-rated Czech Republic international Patrik Schick

It’s suggested that there are doubts over whether or not they will sign Patrik outright this summer, although Gunners and Tottenham are both mentioned explicitly as alternative option

It’s added that the Giallorossi agreed an option to buy with Bundesliga giants worth €29m and so will look to receive that same fee even if Schick were to move elsewhere if possible, with RB Leipzig said to only be willing to offer €24m.

In turn, it stays to be seen if the two sides reach a compromise or not, but if they fail to do so, it would appear as though both Gunners and Spurs could be set to pounce to bolster their attacking options ahead of next campaign.

It would arguably make more sense for Spurs given the lack of quality and depth behind Harry Kane up top, while the 24-year-old centre-forward’s classy style of play, technical excellence and creativity could even allow him to play off Tottenham star as he is capable of playing in a support role or on the right-wing too.

In contrast, Mikel Arteta already has Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil, Nicolas Pepe, Gabriel Martinelli and others at his disposal, and so it’s perhaps tougher to see where the Czech striker fits into that pecking order unless exits come first.

Arsenal defender David Luis facing huge pay-cut to join Benfica Next season

Arsenal defender David Luiz facing huge pay-cut to join Benfica
Story by Emmanuel Anele

Arsenal defender David Luiz faces a huge pay-cut to join Benfica next season.

The Mirror says Luiz is still waiting for the Gunners to tell him if they will be triggering a one-year extension to the deal he signed when he moved to the Emirates from Chelsea for £8million.

Luiz has confirmed that he has already spoken to Benfica Luis Filipe Vieira about a return to the Stadium of Light, nine years after he joined Chelsea for the first time in a £22million move.

But the Lisbon club have a salary cap of £32,000-a-week.

And that means Luiz would see his wages slashed by more than half if he goes back to Portugal.

Luiz has played 32 times in all competitions for Arsenal since moving across London, scoring twice.

Arsenal interested in Barcelona star Rafinha

Arsenal interested in Barcelona star, Inter Milan providing competition too

Barcelona are looking forward to sell a bunch of players in the summer.

Arsenal are after the on loan Barcelona midfielder

The Gunners are looking to strengthen their midfield in the summer, as manager Mikel Arteta continues his rebuilding job. Reports in Spain claim that Arsenal are in for Barcelona midfielder Rafinha in the summer.

The north London side’s lack of midfield depth has well been document in recent times. With Dani Ceballos’ loan move not likely to extended, the team are looking for options at the middle of the park. Arsenal are set to be monitoring the Barcelona star’s situation at Cataluniya and would be likely to make a move for the experienced midfielder.

n has been on loan at La Liga outfit Celta Vigo this season, for whom he has played 22 league appearances, finding the back of the net twice in the process. With the pandemic affecting the clubs financially across Europe, it is believed that the Gunners are looking for cheap and smart buys in the summer. Rafinha therefore fits the bill perfectly, with a possible fee of £13 million.

Rafinha has emerged through the famous La Masia youth set up and represented Spain much like his brother Thiago Alcantara before switching his alliance to his father’s nation Brazil. With the Selecao, he won the Olympic gold medal in 2016. Despite having a trophy laden Blaugrana career, the 27-year-old has often struggled to solidify his place at the club an d could finally leave them at the end of the

The Arsenal target won’t be the only one leaving Barcelona in the summer, with reports claiming a major exodus at the club. The club are trying to raise funds for their summer transfer targets, which might force many to leave the club at the end of the season. however, he could well be used in player plus cash deal to lure Inter Milan to sell Lautaro Martinez, a club where he spent the second half of 2017-18 campaign on loan.

The Nerazzuri then turned down the opportunity to sign the Brazil international permanently for €35 million, but has reignited their interest in the player. They are likely to provide competition to Arsenal for his transfer. It will be interesting to find out where he finally ends up come next season.

Arsenal have completed the signing of talented African youngster George Lewis after having been impressed with his trial with the club.

Arsenal have completed the signing of George Lewis who is a 19-year-old that played for Fram Larvik and caught the eye of the North Londoners after the gunners gave him a trial a few months back. This becomes Arsenal’s first summer signing even though it is yet to be officially announced by the club.

George Lewis was born in Rwanda, Africa but he can however also be able to represent Norway in the international competitions. Norwegian tabloid newspaper VG reports that the gunners have indeed signed Lewis and they quote what his agent Cheikh Diaw had to say about the deal that will see the youngster come to North London.

“He’s ready for Arsenal, yes. The club has not made it official yet, but he has signed for the club. They are really looking forward to getting over George, who they see as an exciting player.” Lewis’ agent told NTB.

George Lewis will according to most reports be put in the Arsenal Under-23 squad but the fans will however be hoping that he can also impress in training and the pre-season games ( if they do take place ) since this is the same thing they were told about Matteo Guendouzi and Gabriel Martinelli before they also became among the first team members.

George Lewis is a winger and so he will have to work hard to break into the first team since the gunners seem to be stacked in that area with most of their impressive youngsters all being wingers.

WELCOME TO ARSENAL GEORGE LEWIS.

I enjoy football so much and I am in love with Arsenal Football Club. I always watch the matches and will always give you my opinions about the game here.
