Arsenal letting their £87,500-a-week star move to Germany on loan

Arsenal should let Sead Kolasinac move abroad next season

According to Sky Sports Germany (h/t Daily Mail), Schalke are working on a deal to re-sign Arsenal left-back Sead Kolasinac.

The report also claims that both clubs have already had initial discussion’s regarding Kolasinac’s move, which will see him return to Germany for a year and have half of his £87,500-a-week wages covered by Schalke.

Arsenal are desperate to trim their inflated wage bill at the Emirates in a side which already has as many as 12 defenders in its ranks.

First-team chances limited for Kolasinac at Arsenal

The 27-year-old Kolasinac arrived at Arsenal from Schalke back in 2017 has failed to nail down a first-team spot. Despite his 105 appearances for the Gunners, Kolasinac has mostly been in and out of the side since his arrival.

One of the major reasons for this has been the Bosnian international’s inconsistency. Last season, he mostly played second fiddle to first-choice left-back Kieran Tierney, who arrived at the Emirates from Scottish side Celtic.

With Tierney clearly being Arteta’s obvious choice in the first-team, Kolasinac’s opportunities seem increasingly limited in the coming days.

That said, Schalke’s attempts to lure Kolasinac back to Germany for next season seems like a welcome sign for Arsenal. Also, it will ease the financial burden on the North London side, who at present have enough back-up in their defensive department.

Hence, the Gunners should let go of Kolasinac at least on loan as it could save them money and also offer the left-back more game time.

Arsenal are keen to sign Lille defender Gabriel Magalhães

ARSENAL ARE KEEN TO SIGN LILLE DEFENDER GABRRIEL MAGALHAES
⚠️ Arsenal are keen to sign Lille defender Gabriel Magalhães. Arsenal are ‘positioned on the file’ & would be ‘in a position to snatch the signature’ of Gabriel.
•••
What a signing this would be. At 22, his potential is very high and he’s already a very talented player right now. If we can land Gabriel for £25M, it would be an excellent signing!
•••
With his aggression and Saliba’s ability to read the game, this could create an excellent centre back pairing to lead us forward...
William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhães will make mistakes, but their potential is scary. They represent the new generation of CBs. Great passers and rarely go to ground. Both extremely gifted physically, with very smart positioning. It would be a tremendous duo going forward.

Do you want us to sign Gabriel Magalhães? πŸ€”

Chelsea star Willian has reportedly agreed a three-year contract worth £100,000-per-week with Arsenal

Frank Lampard was keen to retain Willian and extend his seven-year spell in West London, but Arsenal have stepped in to seal the deal on a free transfer.

Arsenal leading the race to sign €60m-rated Brazil international

Arsenal leading the race to sign €60m-rated Brazil international

Blaugrana are prioritising the sale of Philippe Coutinho and are ramping up negotiations with the London giants as they look to raise funds to make summer additions of their own, according to reports.

Barcelona have been hit hard by the covid crisis and need to sell before they can buy, with Brazil international, who spent last campaign on loan at Allianz Arena, attracting much interest after the Bavarians declined to make the move permanent.

Gunners have already started negotiations with both Blaugrana and Philippe’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, with the head of football Raul Sanllehi driving the agreement. Now the Catalan giants want to offload Coutinho as quickly as possible and are prioritising his sale.

La Liga giants had initially felt the transfer market would be dominated by swap deals this summer but that has not proved to be the case, and they are looking to secure a straight cash deal for the 28-year-old playmaker so they can begin adding footballers themselves.

Gunners are said to be very keen to bring the Brazilian playmaker back to the PL and there is a willingness from all sides to get the deal done. Arsenal are the clear frontrunner to land the Brazilian playmaker and negotiations are progressing well, though Blaugrana have not closed the door to other teams from entering the bidding.

The Spanish club are looking to secure a quick deal, though the 28-year-old playmaker may have other ideas and is keen to focus on Bayern Munich’s Champions League season which could last for another two-and-a-half-week before thinking about a transfer.

Sevilla considering summer move for 25-year-old Arsenal star

Sevilla considering summer move for 25-year-old Arsenal star

By Emmanuel Anele| July 31, 2020

La Liga giants Sevilla have reportedly approached Arsenal to discuss a possible summer move for Hector Bellerin.

The 25-year-old still has three years before his deal expires at the Emirates Stadium, however, it has been reported that the defender could seek pastures new ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Juventus, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain have all been credited with a strong interest in the defender, who has only played 14 Premier League games during the 2019/20 season.

However, according to The Express, Sevilla are also keen to bring him back to his country as prepare for a possible return to the Champions League.

The report suggests that the Spanish heavyweights have ‘made enquiries’ as they look to determine whether the Gunners would be open to a sale in the upcoming transfer window.

Bellerin has played 201 games for the North London club since debuting in 2013.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly one of several teams planning to make an approach for Athletic Bilbao centre-back Unai Nunez.

Since the turn of the year, the 23-year-old defender has been tipped to secure a move to a bigger team, potentially during the next transfer window.

Although there is less talk regarding a possible move to Man City, it appears that several Premier League clubs remain keen on the Spaniard.

According to AS, West Ham United, Everton and Arsenal may make an approach for Spanish defender later back in 2020.

Arsenal considering move for Atletico Madrid defensive midfielder

Emmanuel Anele      Comments Offon Arsenal considering move for Atletico Madrid defensive midfielder

Arsenal have reportedly had a second bid for Atletico Madrid anchorman Thomas Partey turned down by Diego Simeone’s side.

Despite the fact that the Gunners are set to be severely financially-restricted heading into the current transfer window, Ghana international midfielder continues to be rumoured with a switch to North London club.

With Partey supposedly stalling over a new contract at the Wanda Metropolitano, it has been reported that the North London club are hopeful of securing the services of the 27-year-old up for a cut-price figure this summer.

However, The Guardian reports that Atletico are holding firm on their stance and are demanding €50m (£45.5m) for his services.

Mikel Arteta’s side were believed to have had an initial bid of €25m (£22.8m) plus a player turned down, and the report suggests that the North London club have been rebuffed again by Atletico after offering the same amount of money and Matteo Guendouzi in a swap deal.

Guendouzi has not featured for the Gunners since his fracas with Neal Maupay in their defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion, and Mikel Arteta’s side have allegedly made the 21-year-old available for swap deals ahead of the summer window.

Partey played 35 times for Atletico Madrid during the 2019-20 La Liga season and scored three goals for Simeone’s side.

The London giants hopes of signing Dani Ceballos permanently have been boosted with the Los Blancos prepared to cash-in on the on-loan playmaker this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Spain international endured a difficult time at Arsenal when Mikel Arteta first took over at the London club, with his compatriot’s arrival coinciding with a severe injury, and he had to wait until February to play his first game.

Since then, though, Dani has started the last 10 PL games and has become one of the first names on Mikel’s team sheets, delivering a number of excellent displays. Gunners have been very happy with the partnership Ceballos has developed alongside Granit Xhaka and would like to turn the midfielder’s loan into a permanent deal.

However, Gunners did not negotiate a purchase option when they loaned the 23-year-old midfielder last summer and it has been suggested that Zizou could welcome the playmaker back into his squad for next campaign particularly if transfer funds are limited due to the covid-19 crisis.

Now La Liga giants are willing to let the Spanish midfielder leave if they receive both the green light from Zidane and a significant sum. Real want to raise significant funds so they can invest in the squad this summer, with Achraf Akimi already sold to Inter Milan and Dani and centre-back Jesus Vallejo the next two players likely to be offloaded.

Dani remains highly rated by those at Santiago Bernabeu and has other suitors beyond Gunners, with both Valencia and Real Betis reaching out to his camp. The Los Blancos know they have a strong bargaining position and will not let him leave on the cheap, setting an asking price of €25m.

Arsenal to enter bidding war for 23-goal striker

08 July 2020 - 20:50

Arsenal could reportedly compete with the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign Moussa Dembele this summer.

  • Chelsea receive boost in signing Bayern Munich defender
  • Chelsea need to sell Jorginho to raise funds for Kai Havertz

  • The Gunners are currently unclear over the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang whose contract expires next summer and he could be sold at the end of the season.

On the other hand, Alexandre Lacazette has also been fancied to head for the exit door and he is currently the subject of interest from Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

According to L'Equipe, the Gunners are bracing for the departure of at least one of their main strikers this summer and they have identified Dembele as a suitable replacement.

Paris Saint-Germain and United have also been credited with an interest in the former Celtic man, who bagged 23 goals for Lyon before their season was curtailed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Lyon had previously demanded in excess of £60m for the marksman but reports claim that they could now accept a lesser fee due to the financial impact of the COVID-19 outbreak.

22-year-old striker luka jovic wants to stay at La Liga amid Arsenal interest

22-year-old striker wants to stay at La Liga amid Arsenal interest

Out of favour Real Madrid striker, Luka Jovic has rejected a move to London club in favour of a switch to fallen Italian club AC Milan. Arsenal made an ‘aggressive’ approach to sign Serbia international, but the striker prefers a switch to San Siro with the possibility of playing the side’s expected new manager Ralf Rangnick.

It’s added that Luka would also have the chance to link up once again in an attacking partnership with ex-Eintracht Frankfurt teammate Ante Rebic. Rossoneri are yet to agree on a deal for the misfiring centre-forward, who has endured a disastrous debut campaign with Los Blancos. Jovic was signed for an initial fee of €65m.

Los Blancos are reluctant to let the Serbian striker leave on loan unless such a deal includes a mandatory purchase option, the Spanish giants have set a €50m price tag for the striker. Luka has experience a very limited role this campaign, he has just scored two goals and chipped in with two assists in 24 games across all tournaments.

Most of Luka’s games have been cameos off the bench, as Jovic has only started in 30% of his games. The striker is currently injured so may not feature in La Liga’s restart.

Rossoneri have been mediocre for far too long now, Milan seriously need to transform the club and the signing of a potential long-term frontman like Luka would be the perfect piece of business. Arsenal signed Pablo Mari from Flamengo and Cedric Soares from Southampton during the winter transfer window.

Arsenal in pole position to sign 21-year-old creative Serie A winger Justin Kluivert

Comments Offon Arsenal in pole position to sign 21-year-old creative Serie A winger

The London giants have reportedly been holding talks in recent days over a potential swap deal involving Justin Kluivert and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Arsenal flop Mkhitaryan is currently on loan at Roma this campaign after failing to make an impact at the Emirates Stadium since his January 2018 move from rivals Man United.

The Armenian playmaker could perhaps now join Roma permanently if Gunners can secure the signing of Dutch winger Kluivert as part of the deal.

Justin looked a huge prospect at previous club Ajax but has not really lived up to expectations during his time at the Italian club, so it may be that his club are ready to allow him to move on in the near future.

Arsenal would do well to take an opportunity on the talented 21-year-old, who could play a key role in Mikel Arteta’s side if he does make the move to north London.

Nicolas Pepe has made a slow start since joining Arsenal from Lille last summer, and Kluivert could well be an upgrade if he can get back to his best. Arsenal fans will no doubt feel using the unwanted Mkhitaryan in a deal like this could be very smart business.
