Arsenal is hitting the Brazilian jackpot with Edu in charge, Gabriel Martinell was just the first. Here are three more that could (and should) follow.

For far too long, Arsenal appeared uninterested in dipping their toe into the massive Brazilian talent pool, but with the change in leadership came a change in policy, particularly with Edu Gaspar joining the club.
Edu brought gifts with him when he joined. Well, gift, and that gift was teenage sensation, Gabriel Martinelli. Given that he was fairly unknown, no one expected him to amount to much of anything, but he proved that wrong really quickly and now ranks as one of our most successful goal threats of the season.
So the clear and obvious question is who’s next? Plenty of young Brazilian talents have been linked as follow-ups to the massive Martinelli success, but who should the Gunners actually actively pursue?

Gabriel Martinelli needs an encore at Arsenal, so here are three possible options

We have some ideas. Here are three young Brazilian talents that the Gunners should be after.

3. Eric Ramires

Essentially the second coming of the Ramirez that used to don the royal blue at Chelsea, Eric Ramires fulfills the need for a creative, pivot midfielder, but he could also find value as a No. 10 if Mikel Artetainsists on having one.
Ramires is currently spending the year on loan at FC Basel, but with a price tag said to be around the £8m range, it’s safe to say that even a broke and destitute Arsenal would be able to afford him.
He possesses tremendous technical ability, he has an eye for debilitating passes, and he dribbles the way you’d expect a pivot midfielder to dribble. As with most Brazilian central midfielders, his work rate is top-notch and you’ll never have to worry about him slacking.
The Gunners have been linked to a move to Ramires previously, and if ever there was a time to reignite that interest, it would be now, in the interest of making the Gabriel Martinelli sensation double up in the central midfield.
Moving on to No. 2.
