The London club have reportedly been cleared to seal the transfer of Real Madrid centre-forward Luka Jovic as Zizou has decided he wants him out. La Liga giants are now hoping to raise nearly €60m from his sale the same they paid to sign Serbia international last summer.
Luka shone at previous club Eintracht Frankfurt but has struggled at the Bernabeu, and it looks Los Blancos are now keen to offload him as soon as possible. Jovic’s value might not have fallen too much just yet, so it might be a good time to cash in on him amid interest from the Gunners.
Arsenal could do with a top signing upfront due to doubts over Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s future at the Emirates Stadium. The 30-year-old centre-forward is yet to sign a new deal with the Gunners and has been linked with a host of top clubs such as Man United, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Auba would be hard to replace, but if the Serbian striker can get back to his best, he could end up being a real bargain at €60m. Arsenal have poor consequences in the Premier League this season as they are in a 9th place in the table. Gunners signed Pablo Mari from Flamengo and Cedric Soares from Southampton in January.
The London giants heavily linked with RB Leipzig centre-back Dayot Upamecano, PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa, Real Betis playmaker Nabil Fekir, Bayer Leverkusen centre-forward Kevin Volland, Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi, Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and Aston Villa attacker Jack Grealish
